Our platform is designed as a “Listening Post,” ensuring that all brand engagement remains human-led and occurs exclusively through official Reddit interfaces.

2. Transient Data Cache (48-Hour Purge Policy)

To respect the “Right to be Forgotten” and Reddit’s 2026 Data Retention Policy, we operate a transient data architecture. All Reddit content is purged from our systems within 48 hours of retrieval. This ensures that if a user modifies or deletes their content on Reddit, those changes are reflected in our system shortly thereafter, maintaining total user privacy and data freshness.

3. Professional Human-in-the-Loop Engagement

Karmatic empowers professional brand managers and customer success leads to discover organic conversations. We provide the “insights,” but the “action” is always human. We explicitly bridge the gap by providing deep-links to the Reddit platform, encouraging manual, authentic participation by vetted operators.

4. Zero-Tolerance for AI/LLM Training

We explicitly forbid and technically restrict the use of our data streams for the training of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI scrapers, or any derivative machine-learning products. Karmatic is a business intelligence tool, not a data-resale or AI-training pipeline.

We utilize official Reddit Data API credentials via secure OAuth 2.0 protocols. Every request made by our infrastructure is identified by a unique, transparent User-Agent string: web:karmatic:v1.0 (by /u/gluten_free_me). This ensures Reddit’s engineering team has full visibility and a direct line of contact for our application.
